Amakuno

Aniss Belkadi (alias. Amakuno) is a young French-Algerian composer and director based in Paris. He studied cinema at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and film music at New York University (NYU) and the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris. Amakuno is supported by the Académie des Beaux-Arts for the year 2020-2021.

He has worked for Arte, Centre Pompidou, Cannes Film Festival, Galeries Lafayette…

He composes the music for Charles de Vilmorin’s Fashion Week shows and assists composer SebastiAn with the Saint-Laurent shows soundtracks.

Aniss’ music is inspired by Stravinsky and Vivaldi, Max Richter and Ryuichi Sakamoto, DJ Mehdi and Daft Punk.
