Sebastien Tellier

Sébastien Tellier is a French singer and songwriter. He is particularly known for his songs “La Ritournelle”, “L’Amour et la Violence” and “Roche”. His career began in 2001 with the album “L’Incroyable Vérité”. He has since released seven others, “Politics” (2004), “Sexuality” (2008), “My God Is Blue” (2012), “Confection” (2013), “L’Aventura” (2014), “Domesticated” and “Simple Mind” (2020). A genius composer, he has permeated the French and international contemporary scene with his unique and avant-garde musical sound, which has led him to collaborate with many artists, from Daft Punk to Air, via Phoenix, Metronomy, MGMT, Kavinsky, Jean-Michel Jarre, Cassius, Christophe, Karl Lagerfeld or even Dita Von Teese. An eclectic artist with cinematographic compositions, he composed the soundtracks of many films: “Narco” by Tristan Aurouet and Gilles Lellouche, several films by Quentin Dupieux: “Nonfilm” and “Steak”, “Saint-Amour” by Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine, “Marie et les Naufragés” by Sébastien Betbeder or even “a Girl is a Gun” by Mathieu Tonetti with Denise Richards. François Valenza’s documentary, “Many Lives”,which retraces his abundant career, was released in 2021. Ambassador of CHANEL, for which he gave several concerts during fashion shows or events, he composed 2 EPs to illustrate the Haute Couture fashion shows 22/23 staged and imaged by contemporary art artist Xavier Veilhan.
